KOS Glee Club is a performance group that can respond to occasional requests for entertainment from corporate and public event coordinators. Glee Club is exclusive in that only those who audition and are chosen can perform in the group. The group size will be a limited membership consisting of 7th-12th graders.
Auditions will be held at The Chapel on Saturday, May 14 at 1:00pm. Those auditioning will need to perform a pop or show tune style musical number using their own karaoke background cd.
Once selections have been made, members of KOS Glee Club will then attend a mandatory one week rehearsal camp June 20-24. This week will be used to teach and rehearse musical numbers & choreography to be performed by the group. The program will consist of some of the actual musical numbers performed on the popular television program “Glee!” along with other similar rock/pop material. KOS Glee Club will hold their premier performance on Friday, June 24 at 6:30pm.
There is a registration fee of $250 to cover camp expenses. Please note: The Early Bird discount will not apply to KOS Glee Camp. There will be no scholarships available for this week. Registrations are due upon invitation to join the group. Registration deadline is May 30, 2011. Alternate members of the group will be considered to replace any registrations not completed by that time. No performer will be counted as a member of KOS Glee Club until registration with full payment is made.
